Asus Zenfone 5 Battery Drain After Kitkat Update






Hello,i am facing a huge battery drain after the latest bridge firmware update. i have done partition cache wipe,hard reset and also disabled all unused apps. There's a new update for asus zenfone 4 ota v6.5.30 most probably it is android 4.4.3 those users having problems with android 4.4.2 may update to 4.4.3 to solve their problems.. Asus releases android 4.4 kitkat update for the zenfone 4 comments. battery drains fast after upgrading to android 4.4. i was facing the same problem after kitkat update so i simply backed.












In this video how to update asus zenfone 5(a500cg/a501cg) , android version 5.0 manually with simple steps is displayed. sometimes in about- system update -check update , tab in does not function. I used zenfone 5 for 15 months. and just after completing one year the phone's battery started draining fast. i thought may be it was bcoz of some battery draining apps. but after removing such potential apps the problem persists. and moreover it takes more time to charge the phone. and battery drains so fast even with the minimal use.. I am myself a user of zenfone 5. the main reason for battery drain in zenfone 5 is its processor. despite of good performance, the processor has many flaws and power management is one of those. is the asus zenfone 5 kitkat update good or bad? asus: how do i update zenfone 5 to lollipop? my firmware is v 2.22.40.54..
